Layout Surveyor needed

We are currently seeking a skilled construction surveyor that has experience with Total Station to help our installers with layout and field varification.
Key duties include:
Survey instrument set up/break down and daily field operations
Provide layout based on drawings. Identify any discrepancies
Attention to detail including comprehensive field notes records
Ability to create sketches of field work
Understanding of client requirements
Attend customer site meetings, travel to site to perform layout and surveying as required by scope of the work
Gain understanding of the scope and requirements of the project
Prepare layout with high precision and as per scale and incorporate all details of the drawing
Providing layout at various stages of construction of digital design data.
Creating accurate control from existing to assist with strategic layout
Data collection using Total station and or other standard appropriate surveying techniques.
Field Quality Control at all times is imperative; this would include completing control checks and field records for all project related tasks.
Technical Requirements:
3-5 years of survey experience
Proficient with Total Station
Knowledge of all other general surveying techniques & equipment, Laser, leveling, string lines etc.
AutoCAD experience an asset
Strong mathematical skills, with emphasis on geometry and trigonometry
Experience performing complex measurements

Access to personal vehicle for travel to site, and a G or G2 license.
Ability to travel out of the GTA as needed (mileage is compensated for longer trips, along with meals and hotel stays)
Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
